Maritime Law Colloquium “In Search for Regulatory Approach to Autonomous Vessels”

The coonference, which will take place on 16-17 September 2024, concerns the most current topic in maritime law – regulatory challenges arising from the emergence of crewless vessels (MASS). It aims to investigate the legal issues of MASS shipping from an interdisciplinary perspective, considering the most recent technological developments. It consists of 5 panels, each of them approaches a different aspect of unmanned shipping. The colloquium is organized by the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, represented by Zuzanna Pepłowska-Dąbrowska and Rijeka University from Croatia, represented by Igor Vio from the Faculty of Maritime Law Studies. It will be held at the Inter-University Center in Dubrovnik.
